Today, we are announcing that CyberWallet and Cyber Passkey Wallet will be permanently discontinued on August 15, 2026. This post explains the reasoning behind the decision, what you need to do to secure your assets, and what we are offering to users affected.
Why We Made This Decision
When we first built CyberWallet and Passkey Wallet, our goal was to make it easier for people to interact with crypto through smart accounts and gasless transactions. These products served that purpose for many of our early users, and we are grateful for the trust you placed in them.
As Cyber has expanded into the rapidly growing Crypto x AI vertical, we made the decision to concentrate resources on the core areas that matter most: advancing Cyber’s infrastructure as a foundational data layer for crypto AI, and developing Surf as a primary product built upon it. The ongoing maintenance of CyberWallet and Passkey Wallet at a high standard would require operational commitments that no longer align with that roadmap or with what will best serve the broader Cyber community. Instead of letting the products degrade or operate on partial support, we chose to retire them cleanly, with ample notice and a clear migration path.
What This Means for You
If you currently hold assets in either CyberWallet or Passkey Wallet, you will need to withdraw them before the shutdown date.
The deadline to withdraw all assets is August 15, 2026. After that date, both wallet interfaces will go offline. Tokens will remain on-chain, but accessing them would require direct smart contract interaction, therefore we strongly recommend withdrawing well before the deadline.
For CyberWallet Users
- Log in to CyberWallet at wallet.cyber.co.
- You will see a withdrawal banner prompting you to transfer assets to your signer wallet.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer.
All standard token withdrawals (USDT, USDC, OP, and other ERC-20 tokens) are fully supported during this period.
For Passkey Wallet Users
- Log in to Passkey Wallet at passkey.cyber.co.
- Transfer all assets to an external wallet.
- Confirm your balances are cleared before the deadline.
SmartGas Resolution
SmartGas deposits in CyberWallet cannot be withdrawn through the normal flow. We understand this creates a one-way balance that users cannot reclaim directly.
To resolve this, affected users will receive complimentary Surf subscription coupons, available upon login. To redeem:
- Visit asksurf.ai and log in or create an account.
- Navigate to Profile → Promo Code.
- Enter the coupon code displayed in your CyberWallet dashboard.
- Your complimentary Surf plan will activate immediately.
Please note that this applies only to CyberWallet users who deposited SmartGas. Passkey Wallet does not include SmartGas, so there is no equivalent resolution needed there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are my assets safe?
Yes. Your tokens are held on-chain and are not affected. You simply need to transfer them out of the wallet interface before the deadline.
What if I miss the deadline?
After August 15, 2026, the wallet interfaces will no longer be available. Recovering assets would require direct interaction with the underlying smart contracts, which is a technical process we will not be able to support. Please act before the deadline.
Can I still use Swap or Deposit features?
No. As of this announcement, Swap and Deposit functionalities have been disabled on CyberWallet. Only withdrawals to your signer wallet remain active. Passkey Wallet supports transfers to external wallets only.
Who qualifies for the Surf coupon?
Any CyberWallet user who deposited SmartGas is eligible. The coupon will be visible in your CyberWallet dashboard upon login.
