CYBER Staking is a transformative feature that enables users to stake CYBER tokens, thereby securing the network by adding additional nodes to process transactions, earning voting rights in CyberDAO, and, receiving various ongoing economic rewards.

We invite our dedicated community members and CYBER holders to participate in CYBER Staking, share the 1M CYBER reward pool, and receive a series of Ecosystem Airdrops.

Economic Rewards

CYBER stakers enjoy a variety of economic rewards which fall into four main categories.

1. CYBER Season 2 Rewards — Live now with 1,000,000 CYBER to earn

By simply staking your CYBER, you will be eligible to share the 1M CYBER tokens allocated to reward our early stakers. The more and earlier you stake, the higher the rewards.

2. Ecosystem Airdrop — 1st in the series coming this week

As the Cyber ecosystem continues to thrive and expand, CYBER stakers will receive airdrops and benefits from our Cyber ecosystem partners. This will be an ongoing series and we will be announcing the upcoming airdrops on socials and in our community. Simply stake and enjoy the camaraderie.

We are kicking off the first airdrop with one special leading project this week, very soon. Stay tuned.

  • Unless stated otherwise, rewards are provided by third-party dApp developers and not by Cyber DAO. Rewards are not guaranteed with CYBER staking and are subject to change at any time. Your claiming and/or use of any rewards is at your sole risk. Cyber DAO is not responsible for any damages or losses related to rewards.

Besides the Season 2 Rewards and Ecosystem Airdrops, stakers can also expect rewards from 3. Network Revenue Sharing and 4. CYBER Staking Incentives.

  • Network Revenue Sharing: The staked CYBER are delegated to Actively Validated Services (AVS) operators through EigenLayer. In return, CYBER stakers will share the revenue from these services.
  • CYBER Staking Incentives: To ensure ample rewards for CYBER stakers initially and long-term sustainability, a total of 5.5M CYBER has been specifically allocated to the long-term incentive program.

Stake Your CYBER

Season 2 Rewards is using a point system to determine reward distribution. Stake your CYBER to accumulate points and earn extra through referrals and boosters. The current campaign started on March 8th and continues until the launch of the Cyber mainnet. You’ll be able to unstake your CYBER shortly after the Cyber mainnet goes live. Cyber mainnet is planned to launch at the same time as the EigenLayer mainnet, targeted for the second quarter of 2024.

Earn Through Referrals

Invite your friends to get 15% of the staking points from those you directly invite and 5% from second-degree invitees (those invited by the people you invited). Your referral code can be used multiple times.

Boosters

You can unlock different levels of boosters to receive a boost on your total points.

  • Check-in Booster: Check in daily to earn a booster on your total points. Checking in for 90 consecutive days earns you a 9% boost on your rewards.
  • Season 1 FanClub Booster: This booster is designed for our community members who have unused Season 1 FanPoints. If you have ≥2000 and <5000 unused FanPoints, you’ll receive a 1.5% boost. If you’re holding over ≥5000 unused FanPoints, you’ll receive a 3% boost on your total points.
  • Community Booster: Engage with our community by participating in quests and activities. These events unlock additional booster levels. Join our Discord to stay updated on upcoming community quests.

Governance

CYBER stakers along with CYBER holders can propose and vote on governance proposals on the use of community treasury, protocol upgrades, and council members.

Network Security

Sequencers are at the core of a Layer 2 network, a centralized sequencer could have a negative impact, such as censoring user transactions, creating a single point of failure, and creating harmful MEVs. Cyber L2 utilizes EigenLayer’s Actively Validated Services (AVS) to build up the fundamental decentralized infrastructures such as sequencer, verifier, and CyberDB. Staked CYBER and restaked ETH are utilized as delegations to different AVS operators running these infrastructures, and a slashing mechanism is implemented to ensure operational integrity, optimize performance, and maximize network security.

Q: How do I earn points in Cyber Season 2 Rewards?

A: You can accumulate points by staking CYBER tokens. Additional points are available by referring others to stake CYBER. Participation in our community events and attaining retroactive community status can also unlock various booster levels.

Q: What benefits do I get from inviting others to stake CYBER?

A: You earn extra points based on your invitees’ staking points. You’ll receive 15% of the staking points from your direct invitees and 5% from your second-degree invitees (those invited by your invitees). Your referral code can be used an unlimited number of times.

Q: When can I unstake CYBER?

A: You can unstake your CYBER shortly after the launch of the Cyber mainnet. The unstake process, which is at a CYBER holder’s discretion, will take 21 days. The Cyber mainnet is planned to launch simultaneously with the EigenLayer mainnet, targeting the second quarter of 2024.

Q: How are CYBER Season 2 Rewards distributed to stakers?

A: A total of 1M CYBER Season 2 Rewards will be distributed to CYBER stakers shortly after the mainnet launch. Stakers will receive a proportionate allocation of the total CYBER rewards based on their points.

Q: There was a milestone system to unlock CYBER rewards. How does it work?

A: There’s no longer a milestone system. All 1M CYBER reward has already been unlocked and is currently available to be shared among stakers.

Q: Should I keep my CYBER staked after the campaign ends?
