Build the Future of Social with Cyber Ecosystem Grants

Encouraging innovation and supporting community-driven initiatives are crucial for progressing towards our vision and long-term growth. Recognizing this, Cyber proudly announces the launch of its Ecosystem Grants Program, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to supporting builders working on social dAapps and dev tooling.

With a dedicated allocation of $2M worth of CYBER tokens, the program aims to catalyze innovation within the Cyber ecosystem and beyond. The inaugural Pilot Round of the program will feature a total of $150k worth of CYBER and applications will open on April 1st and close April 12th, with winning projects being announced May 1st.

The focus of this inaugural Pilot Round grants program is on Builder Grants, targeting teams building in two key areas: Social dApps and Developer Tooling.

• Social apps, encompassing social media, social networks, and SocialFi, will be a cornerstone of this program.
• Additionally, developers working on extensions for CyberWallet, such as CyberWallet + MetaMask Snap integration, will also be eligible for consideration.

Our goal is to reward high-value builders in the Cyber ecosystem who are instrumental in helping accelerating our growth as an ecosystem and the overall adoption of onchain social and web3. We’re excited to see how these grants will empower creators to push the boundaries of decentralized technology and drive meaningful impact.

Join the Cyber Community Grants Council

At the heart of Cyber’s initiative lies a deep commitment to inclusivity and community involvement. We want our community to pioneer the future alongside us. Whether you’re a developer, entrepreneur, content creator, or simply passionate about onchain social, there’s a place for you within the Cyber Community.

In line with this ethos, Cyber invites passionate community members to nominate themselves for the Grants Council, a pivotal body responsible for selecting projects eligible for grants within the program. Comprising 2–4 individuals, the Grants Council will work hand in hand with the CharmVerse Grants team to identify project teams aligned with Cyber’s goals and capable of making a meaningful impact within the ecosystem.

The selection process for the Grants Council will prioritize individuals who embody a strong understanding of the Cyber community and its ethos. Preference will be given to candidates with a technical background or a robust grasp of web3 fundamentals, ensuring that decision-making processes are informed and forward-thinking. To facilitate transparency and community-driven decision-making, Cyber encourages individuals to apply for the Grants Council based on their passion for innovation and their desire to contribute actively to the ecosystem’s growth.

In addition, Cyber looks for candidates who have demonstrated prior involvement in the Cyber community or have previously participated in other grant initiatives. This firsthand experience underscores a candidate’s commitment to the community and their understanding of its evolving needs and challenges.

Cyber Growth Grants Program represents a significant step towards fostering innovation and community-driven development within the Cyber ecosystem. By inviting community members to actively participate in the Grants Council selection process, Cyber reaffirms its commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and collaborative decision-making.
