We're excited to share our next steps as we move forward from the Cyber developer mainnet. Over the coming weeks, we'll be working closely with key infrastructure partners, such as EigenLayer, EigenDA, Optimism, LayerZero, and QuickNode, to ensure the security and performance of Cyber leading up to the official mainnet campaign starting in mid-June.
One of the most critical parts of this process, especially for our community members who’ve already participated in staking CYBER, is the introduction of Cyber Mainnet Staking.
With Cyber Mainnet Staking, CYBER holders can utilize and stake CYBER tokens to:
- secure the network as a node operators on Cyber,
- earn & exercise voting rights, and
- receive economic rewards from the ecosystem.
Here's how stakers can earn extra rewards by joining Early Access to CYBER Mainnet Staking from May 22 to June 3, and what to expect after the official launch of CYBER Mainnet Staking on June 8.
Early Access to Cyber Mainnet Staking
On June 8, 1,000,000 CYBER of staking rewards will be allocated to our stakers based on their Season 1 staking points. On this date, Cyber Mainnet Staking will officially starts, allowing users to stake CYBER on Cyber using EigenLayer’s Actively Validated Services (AVS). This will power Cyber’s essential decentralized infrastructure, including the sequencer, verifier, and CyberDB.
Meanwhile, we have opened up early access to mainnet staking on https://cyber.co/stake. If you currently stake CYBER on ETH, OP, or BSC, you have two options:
Option 1: Opt in Early Access from May 22 to June 3 to earn additional rewards.
- An extra 30% multiplier is applied to your Season 1 staking points from Mar 8 to June 8, resulting in 30% more staking rewards.
- Your staked CYBER is automatically migrated to Cyber, saving you up to $50 in gas and transaction fees.
- A total of 10,000,000 Link3 Score is distributed among Early Access Users.
- During Cyber Mainnet Staking, stakers can withdraw or unstake anytime following a 7-day waiting period.
Option 2: Not opt in of Early Access and claim rewards on June 8th.
- You can manually bridge staked CYBER to Cyber, however, a gas fee applies unlike if you participate in Early Access.
- You can unstake and withdraw CYBER on the original blockchain used for staking, subject to a 7-day waiting period.
Cyber Mainnet Staking
The launch of the Cyber mainnet introduces Cyber Mainnet Staking. This innovative mechanism not only bolsters network security but also democratizes governance, allowing users to actively participate in decision-making processes. We are extremely grateful for our community who have already staked more than 4.2 million CYBER even before the mainnet launch. We can’t wait to share with you what’s coming for Cyber Mainnet Staking!
Governance
CYBER stakers, along with CYBER holders, can propose and vote on CyberDAO governance proposals on Cyber.
Network Security
Cyber utilizes EigenLayer's Actively Validated Services (AVS) to build up the fundamental decentralized infrastructures such as sequencer, verifier, and CyberDB. Staked CYBER and restaked ETH are utilized as delegations to different AVS operators running this infrastructure.
Staking Rewards
CYBER is staked to AVS operators that run sequencers, verifiers, and CyberDB to enhance Cyber's security. In return, it is intended that CYBER stakers will share the revenue from these services programmatically.
From June 8 to September 8, 500k CYBER rewards will be allocated to incentivize mainnet stakers during this period. To supply ample rewards for CYBER stakers initially and ensure long-term sustainability, a total staking Incentive of 5.5M CYBER has been specifically designed to be distributed over the next six years.
Ecosystem Airdrop & Launchpad
Cyber attracts top-notch developers who are passionate about creating innovative services and products. The platform offers an ideal environment for developers to express their creativity and bring ideas to life. As the Cyber ecosystem continues to thrive and expand, CYBER stakers enjoy the potential benefits of receiving points, token airdrops, and other rewards from the ecosystem.*
Within the first three months of the staking program, about $2 million worth of tokens from ecosystem projects SpaceID, Polyhedra, and Earlyfans have been airdropped to CYBER stakers, as well as special perks and points in other ecosystem projects such as Subsquid and Phaver.

Mainnet Campaign - Social Summer
We're celebrating our developer mainnet launch with a bang! Meanwhile, we are preparing for all the technical infrastructures, you can start experiencing Cyber by minting the CyberNewEra NFT and adding Cyber to your wallet. After minting the NFT, we will automatically send $1 worth of gas on Cyber, which can be enough for hundreds of transactions on Cyber.
